Our Commitment to Excellence

Match Dot Pup strives to exceed expectations for our puppies and their families. We aim to make a meaningful impact in the breeding community by setting ourselves apart. It all starts with the well-being of our parent dogs – they are healthy, and content, and undergo comprehensive genetic and physical health testing. Healthy puppies come from healthy parents, and we ensure that our parent dogs exemplify the finest qualities of Australian Shepherds to produce top-notch puppies.

Early Development Boost

We start Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) when our puppies are just three days old. ENS involves a series of exercises that stimulate the neurological system. This has been shown to result in various benefits, including improved cardiovascular performance, stronger heartbeats, enhanced adrenal gland function, increased stress tolerance, and greater disease resistance. By exposing them to mild stressors and challenges, we help them develop resilience and adaptability.

ESI involves exposing them to different scents that can help them become more aware of their environment and develop a confident nose. By introducing scents at an early age, we help the puppies develop their olfactory abilities and strengthen their overall confidence.

Advanced Development

When our puppies reach 3 weeks old, we transition to a more advanced curriculum. A key component of this program is the daily “10-step puppy massage,” gradually increasing pressure as the weeks progress. Through these steps, we expose our puppies to a wide range of touch, handling, and sensations.

Our comprehensive approach covers gentle touches to their eyes, nose, inside the mouth, collar area, tummy, along the back, tail pulling, ear tugging, and nail tapping. This meticulous regimen ensures that our puppies receive proper exposure to different types of handling and sensations, promoting their overall development and adaptability.

Enriching Early Socialization

Recognizing the importance of early socialization, we introduce our puppies at 3 weeks of age. During this critical period, we expose them to various sounds, sights, textures, and engaging obstacles to explore. Our approach focuses on empowering rather than enabling our puppies, encouraging them to overcome both physical and mental challenges every day.

By providing a stable and stimulating environment, we aim to strengthen their nerves, boost their confidence, and foster problem-solving skills. Our dedicated goal is to offer our puppies an enriching experience throughout the crucial first 8 weeks.

Finding the Perfect "Match"

When our puppies reach 7 ½ weeks old, we administer a comprehensive puppy aptitude test for each one. This test focuses on assessing 14 crucial temperament traits that are essential for ensuring a harmonious “match” between the puppy, your lifestyle, and your specific needs.

After completing the temperament testing and thorough veterinary checks, families are provided with access to evaluation videos and scorecards for each puppy. These valuable resources enable families to make informed decisions based on their specific requirements.
