Lori brought us our 3rd Australian Shepherd in the past 40 years… and what a gem he is! Working with Lori was super. She keeps her puppies a little longer to put them through a puppy “Get Started” program. AND YOU CAN TELL IT!!!! Vincent was born on June 18,2025… we got him mid September. All of his medical procedures were up to date and provided for our vet. His first check up here with our vet received 5 Gold Stars for his condition starting out with them. He has nearly doubled in weight since then. Vinney’s personality… intelligence… sweetness… and companionship are AWESOME!!! Lori’s love for her babies shows in the pleasant nature of her puppies!!!!!

Lori has been so helpful during this process. She does so much work to ensure the puppies she raises have exposure to all different things and I feel it really helps their temperament. She was kind and offering her time and her knowledge. We are first time puppy owners, and our sweet boy is a wonderful dog, but the transition for our family was harder than expected. Lori took the time to talk us through some things that we could try and give ideas for integrating the dog successfully into our home. She really wants to see her puppies successful in their new homes and really cares for them.

Amazing Experience with Lori at Match Dot Pup!
We recently brought home our new puppy, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. Lori was kind, responsive, and truly cares about her pups and the families they go to. She kept us updated with photos and info before pickup, answered all our questions, and made sure our puppy came home happy, healthy, and well-socialized.

My experience with Lori was wonderful. She has developed and prepared the puppy I brought home for a great start in life. Rocco is in his third class of puppy school and is doing very well. Crate training was pretty fast. Rocco loves to play in the backyard and is very silly. I am very happy with obtaining a puppy through Lori.

I spent considerable time looking at Aussies breeders on Good Dog and found Lori and Match-Dot-Pup. I read through the reviews, looked at her dogs, pups and all the videos she posted and knew straightaway that she was the breeder for us. I reached out, inquiring about Imani, and specifically what I was looking for as I have a specific need for a service dog. We discussed further training that Lori would do with Imani to get her in the best place possible for her to start working with me in service. The torture was the waiting, but it sure paid off. Lori worked with Imani extensively, and she completed her AKC Good Dog and Urban Good Dog training (with certificates). The bonus command for me has been the deep pressure therapy, which has been amazing. Imani stays by my side, listens, does what she is asked and excels in all that she’s been tasked with. I could not have asked for a better, sweeter, kinder dog. I worked with Lori over 7 months, and got Imani when she was 14 months old and she was so worth the wait. Lori is so knowledgeable of Aussies, and she clearly has a love for what she does. She’s thorough, conscientious, thoughtful and just a pleasure to talk with – in fact, our many conversations felt like we were old friends. And she follows up, and is responsive to every question I’ve had. If I ever had a need (I always have a want) for another dog, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Lori again. To demonstrate how thoughtful she is, because I got Imani when she was older, she had already had her first heat. Lori contacted me to ask if I’d like to have Imani spayed before coming out to California. The cost was considerably cheaper in Wisconsin – Lori arranged that with her longtime vet and took great care of Imani after her surgery. She went above and beyond. Once Imani came to us, we have worked with the local chapter of the AKC just to reenforce Lori’s training. Our trainer has mentioned several times what a great dog Imani is and she was stunned that a dog so young had completed both AKC trainings. I am beyond thrilled with Imani and she’s just a wonderful addition to our family, and her ability and capacity as a service dog has been exactly what I need and had hoped for. I will forever be grateful to Lori and while it may sound extreme, because I had a need for a service dog, and all the work she put into Imani, Lori has changed my life for the better. Lori raised and trained Frost until he was 7 months old when we adopted him into our family. Frost is the most calm, well behaved pup we have ever met. He is great with kids of all ages, friendly at the dog park, and so loyal, we don’t even need a leash for him on most walks. Lori took care of all our needs registering Frost as an AKC puppy, chipping and answering all of our puppy questions. Frost was a long waited member of our family since we have a young son who was afraid of dogs. After the first few days, Frost was cuddling with my son, loose leash walking, and prancing in the fields together. We look forward to Frost being our 5k running partner and making many memories! We love our puppy!

Thank you Lori – I will say that your hard work training them and socializing them made his transition easy for him. I don’t recall ever using a breeder that did more prep with the pups than you have and there is huge value in that. Lori was very responsive to all of my questions and provided a lot of detail about my puppy. She did a great job prepping the puppy and he had no issues fitting in with our family.

Lori was great to work with! We found Match Dot Pup on Good Dog when we were looking for an Australian Shepherd puppy. We were looking for a puppy that had a very specific temperament as we have another older dog, a very active and social lifestyle and are expecting a baby in a few months. Lori was great because she did temperament testing as well as socializing her pups early on. Our puppy is exactly as she described him and had clearly been exposed to other people, dogs and stimuli from a very early age. He was able to sit already when we got him which is a really helpful tool for starting on additional training and commands. Shadow is excellent around children and other adults and is very laid back to outside stimuli which is exactly as Lori’s temperament testing indicated he would be. He is a playful Australian Shepherd and likes lots of entertainment and exercise! He has been healthy, friendly and wonderful so far. Our vet was pleased with how comfortable our puppy was in the office, around the instruments and docile he was during nail trimming – which was due to Lori working with the puppies paws and getting them used to being handled. We had previous experience with a reactive rescue dog who was beloved and well trained but had us very concerned about getting a future puppy that would not be scared of children, adults, noises, etc. with our baby due soon. Having the temperament testing and Lori clearly getting to know each of her pups and being able to speak to what Shadow was like gave us a lot of peace of mind that he would be the right fit. He is such a great addition to our family!

Match Dot Pup was wonderful to work with. Our initial conversation was very thorough and informative. The temperament testing allowed us to view all the pups via video. It was incredible. MDP stayed in constant communication as our pick up date was approaching. After our trip home she was still giving us tips to having a successful first week. You can tell she truly cares for these pups and wants the best for them. My River already knew how to sit and stay, along with mostly being potty trained. It was truly one of the best experiences purchasing River through Match Dot Pup. Thank you! River is soooo good and is loving being spoiled by us.

We had such an amazing experience working with Lori! The first day we spoke on the phone and discussed everything we were looking for in a dog and Lori explained her wonderful program.
